Cartoon Drawing - The Kid's Experience!

Cartoons have always been the first love of kids. They watch cartoons on television more than adults watch the news. Animated characters attract their attention coupled with a child friendly story line and sound effects. In this stage of their lives, cartoons are their lifestyle. They play with their toy cartoon characters, their school supplies have their favorite cartoon hero, and they even have a costume of their favorite superhero.

In early school days, drawing is the first lesson that is introduced to kids almost simultaneous with learning to print or write. It is not surprising that some kids love to draw their favorite cartoon characters for their drawing assignments, and even sometimes to the point of not paying attention in class. Some kids will develop their artistic talents through this stage while other kids will eventually stop drawing cartoons and just be content with watching them on television.

For those children that maintain their skills the dream of drawing as a career can become a reality. Professional cartoon artists today started drawing at a very early age and through the years honed their talents to become successful and well recognized. Walt Disney started drawing the world famous Mickey Mouse on the garage of the house where he lived. Parents should encourage their children who harbor these unique talents rather than scold them for not getting serious with their studies.

Here are some ways you can help your kids improve their cartoon drawing:

*Always appreciate their work. Appreciation is a form of reward and generally increases the behavior reinforced.  They will feel special in this way, and they will know that you are also happy with what they are doing.

*Support your child's talent. Instead of getting mad at them drawing in their notebook and everywhere else, buy them a drawing book for their sketches. In this way, they will refrain from drawing in their school books and notebooks and only in the sketchpad given by you.

*Enroll your child in a summer art class. Enrollment in summer art programs work in effective ways. First, they get to improve their skills in cartoon drawing and get to spend their vacation productively. Further, you can do other things knowing that they are doing something safe and enjoying it.

You must remember that most people started drawing before learning to write their first words. Drawing is a unique talent and any child who is seen to possess skill at an early age needs full support and understanding. With positive encouragement, they might end up being the next Charles Schultz, Jim Davis or Simpson's creator Matt Groening.

Unique Cartoon Gifts For Children

Children enjoy seeing pictures of themselves just as much as adults - often more so. And giving them cartoon gifts can help them really appreciate the effort you've put into having a special present made for just them. Imagine prints of their face on a tiger eating ice cream or a dinosaur holding a giant crayon.

Personalized Cartoon Prints and Calendars

Limited edition prints and calendars are definitely unique cartoon gifts. Mainly because the gift is one that is usually on display, which makes the child featured feel very special. The reaction to a personalized cartoon picture of child is far greater than a traditional photo due to the fact that it is novel and quite exclusive.

Personalized Greeting Cards

We’ve all utilized greeting cards at times in our lives. Remember giving Valentines to classmates in school or sending out Christmas cards to relatives. They are a perfect way to announce, inform or simply touch someone. Visualize a child sending out birthday invitations with a cartoon on the front of their face on a kitten holding a cake and the card reads; It would be a CAT-astrophe if you miss my birthday! Personalized greeting cards also garner a keepsake value because they are one of a kind.

Personalized T-Shirts

Clothing is so trendy today that children can barely keep up with this week’s look or that fad. But what has remained a true constant in fashion is t-shirts. It’s the perfect canvas to display your identity. Personalized t-shirts featuring cartoons can be quite beneficial in making children feel like the center of attention.

Webcomics - A Growing Industry

Currently in the Western world, most comic strips are written and drawn by comic artists or a cartoonist, and are published on a recurring basis (usually daily or weekly) in newspapers.

Webcomics, also known as online comics and Internet comics, are comics that are available to be read from the Internet. Many are exclusively published online, while some are published in print but maintain a web archive for either commercial or artistic reasons.

With the Internet's easy access to an audience, Webcomics run the gamut from traditional cartoon strips to graphic novels and beyond. Two pioneers of this format are Penny Arcade, focused primarily on video gaming, and User Friendly, which bases its humor on the Internet and other computer-user issues.

The majority of traditional newspaper comic strips have some Internet presence. King Features Syndicate and other syndicates often provide archives of recent strips on their websites. Scott Adams, creator of Dilbert, started a trend by including his email address in each strip.

Webcomics are a growing industry due to the increase in online activity. People are relying on their computers to access anything and everything, including their daily dosage of humour.

Occasions are meant to be cherished and an important element in what makes them cherished are the gifts we give to others. Though there are various portals available in the market and even online which render various sorts of personalized gifts, surprisingly not many of them are actually quality oriented and outstanding for that matter. As you search the Internet there are countless websites to deliver personalized gifts to their clients around the world. For instance, personalized calendars, greeting cards, t-shirts, jewelry, accessories, and several other products play in to this category.
Here are a few tips that should be kept in mind when buying or choosing any type of personalized gift:

1.)Stores or sites that offer too many selections can be imposing. It’s more convenient to shop from a source that specializes in only several related items.

2.)Personalized gifts or other relevant services should not only be unique but outstanding so as to add to the impact of the gift.

3.)The objective is to make recipients feel more special and cared about by focusing on them, not just the gift.

4.)Shoppers may have to seek out handcrafted items to get exactly what they are looking for.

5.)It’s wise to choose quality over price for it will reinforce the importance of the person receiving the gift. Commercial products with ultimate quality is a rare combination but still not impossible to find.

6.)One should always compare between outlets for guarantees and shipping because these will emphasize how much effort you put into the recipient’s gift.

Cost usually does matter, but be aware that if quality suffers your time and effort will most likely go un-noticed. Personalized gifts are a sure-fire way to make someone feel delighted through the realization of being that special someone for you.

Pick A Penguin Or Polar Bear!

Well all right, it might not be quite so easy to find a store that sells actual penguins or polar bears, but just imagine the surprise on your recipient's face if you could! Giving gifts is easy, but giving unusual gifts is a skill that everyone should learn. At the very least you can be certain that your gifts will be the hottest topic of conversation at any party.

Picture This

Perhaps you know someone who's crazy about hamsters, or wild about skateboarding? Well, a personalized print will display their name and any message over an image that is sure to make them smile. These unusual gifts are great for anyone who has a funny bone to tickle.

Personal and Priceless

It can be easy to fall into the same old patterns when buying Christmas and birthday presents for our loved ones. A favorite perfume perhaps, or a bottle of their favorite liqueur. But present someone with a personalized gift, a gift they can truly call his or her own, and you'll own the title of Grandmaster Gift Giver. Personalized calendars make great gifts simply because they are so original. Provide the recipient's name and a thoughtful caption, and they can be incorporated into calendars of various styles that will keep them amused all year long. For priceless gifts that will last a lifetime, consider collectible personalized art. These are the types of gifts that serve as bookmarks to the times in our lives we care to reflect upon, and in essence, become timeless.
